Science Center Field Trip

Ty had another field trip last Friday. This time we went to the Science Center. This field trip was one of the better one's with tons of stuff to do for all the kiddos and we even got to bring a sack lunch and eat it there (Ty loved that part).

Finally! We are able to go outside. There might still be snow on the ground, but the sidewalks were all cleared off so Ty got out and rode his bike again! He was a little rusty at first, but quickly caught on again and was off. How great it will be when we can do this on a daily basis!

My sweet little boys helped me make some pudding for desert after dinner. They love helping in any way they can when it comes to making sweets! I welcome anytime I get to spend with them- before I know it, they won't have time for ol' mom and dad! ;-)

Our dogs live a tough life . . . .

Last Friday Molly was spayed - no big deal, right? Wrong!! Molly had a terrible reaction to the anesthesia and vomitted all Friday night thru Saturday morning. Luckily, our vet's office is open Monday - Sunday 8-8, so at 7:59 a.m. I called in a panic and brought Molls right in Saturday morning. She had a temp and was severely dehydrated. So, she was monitored all day and given fluids for dehydration, amongst many other things. By Saturday night she was ornery as ever and back to her regular self, thank God!

Amanda Turns 3-0!

One of my dear friends, Amanda, turned 30 at the beginning of the month! A ton of us went out to celebrate this big occassion! What a fun night!

Swimming!!!

To cure our winter blues, we decided to go swimming to one of the few indoor, year-round pools just outside of Ankeny. It took Tate a little while to warm-up, but eventually he loved it. There was no question that Ty would love it - he loves to swim! It was a great way to spend some quality time together and get out of the house!!!
